Is giving NATA compulsory or can i get admission on the basis of AIEEE B.ARCH PAPER 2?

i am a maharashtra student and my AIR-26433 AND STATE RANK-2424,Can i get admission on the basis of this in any college in chennai or is appearing for NATA compulsory?also which are the colleges that grant admission on aieee b.arch basis,if at all,in chennai?please help.
