Advice on hospital bag for baby and me?

I dont know about you but yes I did take a shower after having my babies...not that night but first thing the next morning I did. You're probably gonna feel really nasty so yes take your fav. shampoo and soap...if you dont like using wash cloths to wash with bring your own scrubbie or whatever you use, the hospital provides this but its not the greatest and they only provide wash cloths. They also provide pads and panties which I recommend you wear theirs and not your own because you'll be bleeding alot...I even brought extra pads and panties home with me for a couple days before I felt ok to put on my own. The hospital will also provide pacifiers for baby, but good idea to take your own in case baby dont like those, mine didnt. I would also take something fun to do, word search or something like that or just a book to read if you enjoy doing those things...you may be in too much pain to do this but at least you'll have that option, I did this and for the first 3 to 4 hours I wasnt in much pain and it helped to pass the time.
